CRICKET WIRELESS WINS BIG, BREAKS RECORDS

THE CHALLENGE

Our client, a Cricket Wireless Premier Dealer with 32 locations nationwide was seeking ways to re-vamp business and increase levels of performance nationwide. Our client’s business had once been award-winning and highly recognized by Cricket Corporate, but after 5 years of operation, the business suffered from poor levels of customer satisfaction, low sales, and loss of profits.

 

 

WHAT WE DID

 

ADVERTISING

Our creative marketing team developed a “Sharing is Caring” ad campaign leveraging the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy 5.  The campaign was designed to leverage existing customers to help create new customer sales.  The “Sharing is Caring” campaign allowed existing customers to receive a free upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy 5 if they referred a friend who signed up for new Cricket service.  This ad campaign would allow our client to improve relationships with existing customers while simultaneously gaining new sales.  

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT & MARKETING

We created a social media accounts for our client, complete with brand identity. In order to instantly boost followers, we added a promotion where existing customers could receive a free phone accessory for liking the company’s Facebook page.  We utilized the customer data base to launch a SMS campaign with links to the company’s social media pages.  We also used social media and SMS marketing to promote the “Sharing is Caring” campaign with a mobile coupon delivered right to their phones.

RESULTS

  • As a result of our advertising and digital campaign, our client made $12,000 in sales at a single location, in one day.

  • Each location in Las Vegas TRIPLED their daily sales and continued those results for two weekends following .Stores in Washington DC reported lines out the door and record sales.

  • By providing deals to current customers, our client also experienced an increase in customer retention from retaining only 59% of their customers to retaining 82% of customer’s company-wide.

  • Our client experienced a 60% increase in profit over a 4-month time period.

  • Our client was successfully moved to the highest level of performance within the Cricket organization and was able to reclaim their award-winning performance titles.
